Memorial Day 2009

We spent the weekend tucked away in the mountains at Sundance. Our days were spent staying up late, sleeping in, eating yummy food, hiking, playing guitar hero, going to movies, walking to the general store to get their famous suckers and of course....THE RUBBER DUCKY RACE! The kids anticipate this race for months! After picking the perfect duck we all head out for some serious competition.

It was a great race! The kids did great and won some amazing prizes! Easton took first and won a dual slip-n-slide and new spider man floaties!

Kennedy and Thailee tied for second and won new razor scooters!


London took third! Her present, a big blow up jump thing filled with balls, was too big to wrap so Grammy told her to close her eyes while Bubba brought it down...

Travis and I broke our 10 year long losing streak and came in second! YIPPEE!! (the only bad thing is it sucks losing to my Mom and Dad who took first!) But our prize was worth it all(a new iHome)!! We all had so much fun hanging out enjoying great company and scenery. Thanks Mom and Dad for another great weekend at the cabin!
