Once the temps topped out at 58 we grabbed the swimsuits and headed down to the lake for some summertime fun.
Although it was freezing there, we all had so much fun!

On a normal weekend in Bear Lake you can find us lounging in the sand lathered in sunscreen drinking a ice cold coke. You can hear the giggles of the kids splashing in the water and the sound of four wheelers in the distance. Little did we know this was not going to be a "normal" weekend in Bear Lake. It was a mere 47 degrees at high noon! Are you kidding me? That is like curl up next to a fire with hot chocolate weather. But we were not about to surrender to mother nature. We tucked the swimsuits and flip flops back in the suitcase and pulled out the sweatshirts and long pants and headed out for some four wheeling fun! Here are a few highlights:

So glad you had fun. We certainly did. Our grandkids are so much fun--even when mother nature doesn't cooperate! Thanks for coming; we will do it again in September!!! Love, Grandma and Grandpa
Dang - that stinks that weather was so bad! Looks like you guys made the most of it - you can tell your kids loved it. Look at those smiles!
